7.5mm swiss revolver ammo, NOT 7.65mm Nagant revolver ammo

Can anyone tell me if the 7.65 mm for Nagant revolver is a hard/easy find here in Canada? Where can I find some?

Thanks!

Good luck, Buck! I've never even seen any, and the only person I have talked to who was planning on shooting one was forming his own brass from 7.62X54R!:(

Are you sure he was forming brass from 7.62x54R?????????????

Shrek if you can find an antique nagant, you can feed it no problem.

WTF. I would like to see just how you would make the little 7.62 Nagant round out of a BIG FAT 7.62X54R case.

Fiocchi makes 7.62 Nagant ammunition. The problem is that there is only one distributor for Fiocchi for Canada on their web sight. He is in Vancouver, he don't answer his email:mad:

If you hand load, I make my Nagant ammo from .32-20 revolver ammo. I even thought it would be fun to screw with the feds and rechamber my .32-20 Colt Official Police to 7.62 Nagant and take it out of the Prohib class. Same bullet, powder, primer and case but not prohib!!

Hell, I never thought of that. The .32 cartridges are prohib, the .30 auto cartridges are not. What a messed up country we live in:rolleyes:

You can make 7.62 Nagant out of .223 Rem but you have to make a couple of dies. There is an article on the project in Home Shop Machinist but I don't know which issue. m39a2 has a copy of the magazine though, even if he has forgotten about it. With .223 brass, you can form the gas seal part of the casing.

I gave it to you 6 or 7 years ago. If I think about it long enough I could probably tell you exactly when you got it but I would have to commit more neurons to the question than I have to spare.

PS
No problems with the proto type Vz scope mount, but I haven't put many rounds through the rifle yet.

I have about 60 rounds of the ammo..I keep looking around the gun shows..its shows up

Wolf in the USA is going to be bring that caliber in..but we have no Wolf dealers in Canada..so we are outta luck that way

Oh crap! if the ammo becomes even slightly available, I'll have to try to find one to pair with my nagant rifle.....:)

I initially made an error, the type of ammo I will need is NOT 7.65 Nagant, but 7.5mm swiss. This Husqvarna made ''NAGANT'' is chambered to accept the same 7.5mm cartridge as the Swiss Schmidt revolver. can anyone tell me if this caliber is hard/easy to find here in canada???

Nonte, jr says for 7.5 swiss Revolver resize and trim 32 20 cases.

So thats what i would do as there plenty of 32 20 cases around.

I know guys use 32 20 cases in there 8mil lebel 1892s
