Hi Mosin fans,
I just bought one and I'm trying to find the cheapest surplus to buy so any info would be helpful. I'm sure this has been discussed somewhere here so I apologize for any duplication.
Thanks

I think Milarm has some of the cheapest right now. 400 and 800 round cases.

TradeEx is usually the cheapest, but I don't think they have any in stock.

Frontier Firearms generally has good prices as well.

If St.Johns, try TradeEx and keep your fingers crossed. Hopefully somone will chime in from your part of the country.

Frontier Firearms sometimes has "free shipping" on cases of ammo.

To contact Milarm, just give them a call, but they will probably hit you with shipping.

West Rifle is good too, but I believe they would hit you with shipping.

I picked up the crate just a week or so ago as it is starting to dry up again. Three years ago it was common, then it dried up for about a year and for the last year it has been common again. Same with the Tokarev ammo (also picked up a case) and from what I hear soon to be the case with the 7.62x39, so I hope to pick up a case or get some of the Czech non-corrosive ammo which just came in.

Did you try Coastal Equip. in Mt Pearl, theres also Complete Gunsmithing on O'leary Avenue. Let me know what you find, I'll chip in for half a crate if you want to go that route.

Hey, Sergey -

The shipping calculator on your website gives me three choices for shipping via Canada Post. We know the ammunition will come via DHL. Which of the three prices is the right one?

I'm really hoping it's the cheapest of the three...:D

We're $289.95 a case. Just add it to your shopping cart and then click on estimate shipping for a price.

In addition to price, it might be worth discussing what the vintage/country of origin is for the ammunition each dealer has, in the event that matters to an individual shooter.
