I picked up this 7.62 the other day and I cant find any info on it. Mainly because the receiver was scrubbed removing the manufacturers markings as well as most other markings. It has been marked with the "C broad arrow" in numerous places as well as the "BNP" stamp. The wood also matches the receiver. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Sorry for the inverted pics.

enfield or sterling 308 magazine?? I have mostly sterling magazines in mine. we got sterling magazines from the factory before it closed.

I still have a 7.62 conversion kit from the Sterling factory in the original package. The sterling kits were a bit more involved with the button ejector that you had to drill the receiver to install. I'll post a picture later on.

Curious here. :D Seen descriptions of the conversion kits and they mention a "Breeching washer". What exactly is that?

which kit?? Sterling or Enfield? There were several small variations of the kits but after Enfield and Sterling finished their pi$$ing match over the patent rights, no one wanted them and most were sold off surplus to Ceylon and a little gun shop in London England...unfortunately long gone. They had some NEAT stuff like Flanders mud flaps for the SMLE at a shilling a pop..
Had I bought them all at the time I would be on easy street now with the current price of the flaps.
