7.62 Portuguese price?

I may have found a person with a case of Portuguese 7.62 surplus that is willing to part with it. Any thoughts on what would be a reasonable price to pay?

When first imported it was selling around $300/1000. Prices went up as the supply dried up.

Considering .223 is up over $400/1000 rnds, I would say you are getting a steal at $300/1000 rnds.

It was not all that long ago (last year or so) that Districorp was selling Port for 300 per 1000.

They even shipped 1000 to me out of the crate to cut down on the shipping cost (secured in a cardboard box with lots of packing tape and paper dunnage).

I bought 3 battle packs ( 200 rounds each) for around 93.00 per 'pack' shipped

i got some a year or two ago for $321 OTD, since there is none around, i think closer to $400 is about right, much higher than that and i would reload.

Thanks everyone for your input, I will see if I can get it for between 300 and 400. Heck, if he will give it to me for less then $300 I would feel that Christmas has come early
