...planning on purchasing some hand pulled tracer rounds from a fellow CGN'er

here's the link http://www.canadiangunnutz.com/forum/showthread.php?t=218877

just wondering if it would be possible to load these bullets into a 7.62x39 case.
would be looking to shoot these from a CZ-858 or SKS.
Please bear in mind I haven't any experience in handloading yet [as if it wasn't obvious] ;) but If they can indeed be safely handloaded into the 7.62x39 case I will keep them on hand for when my skills match my ambitions :p

Thx. for replies,
Mad Mikey :)

If they are 150grn or less then they should not be a problem. Hodgdon website shows load data up to 150grn bullet for that cartridge. Check load manuals for max bullet weight.

I don't load for 7.62x39 but if they use the same bullet diameter as the .308 they should be fine.

For a Mini-30, sure. Otherwise, they're too small in diameter for an SKS. It has a .311" barrel. Don't know what the diameter of a CZ-858 barrel is.
