7.62 types? X39 x43 x44???

This has probably been played out but here it goes.

I've got green crates of 7.62 but every box has different markings.
The boxes are marked with what I see as gibbberish and dimensions.
Some say 7.62x39, 7.62x43, or 7.62x44.
What do the differences mean?
I've been told its all pretty much the same.
A little help please.

I bet it says DASH 44, (-44), and not TIMES 44, (X44)

I had the same problem a few months ago. i posted pictures of the spam cans here and they were all identified. My cans and crates now have felt marker labels on them.

Can you post pictures?

-43 refers to M43, as in Model 43, year of adoption I believe.
Not sure about the -44.
I bet CanAm knows, he grooves on that stuff

BT = powder type
85= powder load
