7.62 x 39 Tracer

some made it in by mistake I got a whole crate of it norinico i think it was back in 1989 it was green trace I ran most of it thru 75 rnd drums....the good old days

Try canada ammo I think he had a crate or 2

I found that it, and especially .223, has a very small payload, so burns out very soon.
I much prefer 30-06, 308 or 8x57mm, as it burns far longer.
The .223 seemed to just "blink".
The 8x57 would trace across a valley.
 
depends remember thier are "training" trace rnd I have 1000's in .223 they glow red from muzzel to 500 yards

the .223 combat trace burn 100 to 300 yrds (100 so the enemy cant follow the trace back to you)

the 762x39 trace went aprrx 400 yards or so we were shooting across a lake years ago
