A teaser for those who have not had the pleasure of owning some Port surplus, and a fond memory for those who have...

My wife was playing with HER new toys, and taking pictures of mine

Down to my very last 500 rounds. I definately know what I want for a Christmas stocking stuffer.

according to Districorp's website, they should be getting some south african surplus in soon :D:D

Thats some really good news.

My supply and faith have been getting really short.

Not so overly bad for going into winter as most range work will be indoor pistol during the off season, but I'd like to put away about 5k going into next year just as a reserve.

My brother just bought a couple case lots of RUAG for his M4 with the same idea in mind.

Never know when supply will get short again.

Much thanks. I'll pass that on to my wife. She spent the weekend running out to Canadian Tire picking up the peices for making her light box for product shots. It does a great job of making a perfect lighting background.

Next project will likely be to make one that will take human sized objects as well.

Well if you're getting into the 'best'.......hands down with anyone who has tried it in an M14.......Austrailian, match grade ball surplus!!!! Then Port...then Argintine and then.....(no and then).......Hirt and then.......South African. That's the order of favorites for my girls.

What about that Match Grade Lake City stuff? :D

Well GGFB The Hirtenberger was grouping better than the Port. I've only tried those 2. As far as commercial stuff the Hornady Match 168gr bthp was in one word Awesome, almost sub-moa.
