Del Selin Gunsmith in Vernon has 7.62 x 54 ammo for $5.95/box of 20. It is Czech, steel cased, light ball, headstamp is 89. Not sure how much he has or quantity discount, if any.
 
Thats a good price...the headstamp is 68, the year it was made. Mine was 64, too bad its corrosive but it's not 1/2 as corrosive as hungarian ammo.
 
Just as a note, and to save long distance phone calls and/or emails, while we do have various types of surplus ammo, including the 7.62x54R mentioned here, we are unable to ship it out due to the drivers for our local couriers demanding that we have Dangerous Goods paperwork to accompany any ammo shipment, which we are unable to issue as no one here has gone through the Transport Canada training to do so.

So, until such a time as our couriers will NOT ask us to have such paperwork, even though we have proven that it is NOT required, the ammo we have is pick-up only. That is the reason we have not advertised that we have such ammo available here on CGN. If, however, you would like to come pick it up, we are more than happy to do whatever we can to accomodate you in that regard.
