Winchester sells boh FMJs and SP both non-corrosive but seller&bellot made(not reloadable brass i heard).LeBaron has it in catalogue and bunch of ppl are waiting for it

Where'd you order your Mosin from?

I'm not looking for one, I'm just curious. I got mine from SIR over 20 years ago.

For hunting ammo I picked up the odd box here and there of Norma commercial soft point at gun shows until I had enough.

FYI, my buddies give me very good reports of the results of the Igman ammo in 30-06. Plus it is cheap. What it is like on game I can't tell you.

A friend of mine had it, but he's not into military stuff, and I had an old English side-by-side, and I'm not into shotguns, so we did a mutually agreeable transfer of items.

And speaking of which, I generally have good luck with everything in Igman, especially since they make amo for a lot of WWII military rifles. 8mm Mauser, 7.62x54R, and even my 6.5x55mm SM.
 
Thanks for the tip re John @ Po. Co. I called him & he has the SP and the FMJ at very reasonable prices. I'll be heading off in the next week or two to get some.
I ordered an M44 from P&S Guns & Militaria last week, looking forward to having some fun.
