I have bought a few 20 round boxes for 75 cents a round but never a whole case as you have described. There might be some collector value that would add a premium perhaps, assuming it was left sealed and intact. If you are buying it to shoot I don't see it being worth more than a buck a round IMO.

Whats the asking price? If dated 1962 it does have a little collector value, but still good ammo to shoot, If the price was right I would buy the crate in a hearbeat

try 600$ if he says yes your laughing, And then you can sell me half the crate :D, I wouldn't go anymore than 800$ that's getting on the steep end of things

Looks to be Canadian made Dominion Arsenals 7.62 ball. Not all that common now a days since I think DA stopped production in the 70's and IVI took over for the military. From what i hear, as far as standard ball ammo goes, its very good ammo. Almost seems like a waste to shoot it out of an M14, unless you have a higher end make such as springfield or LRB. Just my opinion though, I never find these kinda things lol.

You wanna dump the brass when your done let me know.

He only have the one crate?

How much lower end 7.62x51 would a guy say trade for 3000 rounds of this stuff? I may have a bit. I'm only firing it out of an xcr which, well we all know how they group at 300 anyways. And I'm bagging up the brass too.
