Greetings all,

A buddy of mine is looking at getting a Tokarev and he borrowed one from a friend and around 80 rounds of ammo (Milsurp); We got to the range and loaded up and *Click*

We waited and ejected the Round and found the Primer was punched, it just didn't go Bang.

We ended up with 19 Misfires and 10 Hang-Fires out of 80 rounds. He's wondering if this sort of thing is common; I don't shoot Milsurp so I do not know what the Good/Bad Ammo Ratio is. I'm wondering what others experiences are.

Thanks

I have a CZ52(same caliber), and same problem. Sometimes second or third hit will set it off(military). Check for condition and/or corrosion on hammer spring, firing pin, etc.. Cosmoline all cleaned out, slide fits tight to end of barrel(headspace?). I reload federal primers with perfect results. Be patient, try a different country/brand.

I got one of the tt-33 and a case of ammo deals from wolverien and about half the ammo is gone every one has gone bang. :dancingbanana:

ive gone through several thousand rounds of that stuff, i think i had less than a dozen that didnt go bang the first time, all of them went downrange eventually (ok i might have thrown one or two)

I have that problem with a CZ52 and Czech surplus. Re-#### the hammer and try again. They usually go off the second time around.
