7.62x25 pressure

any idea what kind of pressure the 7.62x25 is putting out was thinking about making a shotgun adaptor out of a scrap barrel I have

It's fairly high, 35,000 PSI using the CIP method.

What pressure? You are pushing a 7.62mm pill down the centre of an 18mm bore, no issues. I fire 357mag out of my 12ga with an adapter all the time. Have not had an issue with it ever.

The adapter is the barrel taking the pressure. the shotgun is just the holding device. It is not involved ,other than the back thrust, which is small.

Go for it.

that's pushing a .510 bullet down a .729 bore this is pushing a .311 bullet down a .310 bore for about 12" that .50 round left a lot of unburnt powder In that barrel
