Hi everybody,

I've been checkibg the internet lately and have had no luck in finding anything but FMJ ammo for the 7.62x25. Can anyone point me towards some hollow points or lead round nose ammo?

Thanks!

I have never seen any HP or lead RN 7.62x25

This line of firearms are almost exclusively military models per military conventions HP and deforming/fragmenting rounds are not allow only FMJ.

Yeah I figured that would be the case but I was really hoping for something that isn't steel core fmj. Those rounds are so hot and just punch through everything

7.62 x25 is designed to utilize round nose fmj bullet to feed reliably in semi and full auto firearms. Hollow points or other type of bullet will not feed reliably in military firearms that's why there are no such loadings for this millitary cartridge. In US Winchester produces hp load in this caliber for defense purposes, but here I doubt it is available. Best way is to get in to reloading and load the bullet you want. 'no other choice here

I see the HP load is from their "gold" line so yes you are likely correct. I think the gold line comes from an Asian factory.

Wolf Gold, in both FMJ and JHP, has always been made by Prvi, with a PPU or NNY headstamp. Never heard of or seen any Asian Wolf production. Please post some box info if you can find it.

What I need is some ammo that I can shoot at the indoor range: ammo that is non-magnetic.
Reloading might be the only way to accomplish that.

Norinco red box is non-corrosive and lead core. It is magnetic but it doesnt damage the backstop.

I had confused myself, Wolf Gold .223 is made in Taiwan. Since it's the only gold I have used I got it in my head that it was Asian.
