7.62x25 Tokarev corrosion

Gun Nutz,

i opened my new case of 2280 7.62x25 tokarev and found a few boxes with what appears to be corroded brass cases? here is a pic of the brass and steel case.

are these still safe to fire? can they be reloaded?

id still fire those. I have seen much more corrosion on this ammo. SOme of mine was rusted completely around the base of the brass on a few boxes. i tossed those ones, but yours just looks like they are a bit tarnished? rust, yes chuck out, but not dull brass.

If you have a tumbler, throw them in for a half hour, they should clean up nicely.

I've had some brass that looked hellishly messy and it tumbled to look like new in an hour or so.
