How does 7.62x25 compare with common handgun ammunition?

Does it feel like shooting 9mm, or more like .357 magnum? Or is it all together different?

The 7.62x25 is a pretty hot round; in my opinion I'd say its more like a souped up .40 cal

It's quite powerful and fast round around 1600 ft per second, high penitration round. Don't shoot metal targets with it.

More powerful than shooting a 9mm, but not as powerful as 357.

curios, why would this be a problem, 'cause its steel case ammo or something?

No Problem, have fun with it. I just find it is an uncomfortable gun due to its narrow grip. Does not feel right in your hand, and the sights are very small.

I said it many times, the round is not hot, it is just loaded hot, high charge of powder. You can do that with 9mm as well if you like that, I don't like it. so I reload.

The 7.62X25 TT is a pretty flashy round, it doesn't have as much on the 9mm as most people would assume though.
