7.62x39 Bullets

Hey everyone,

I'm looking for some bulk 7.62x39 bullets in .311 diameter. They are not so easy to find at the moment so I'm wondering if any of you out there know of any milsurp ammo that would fit the bill. Alternately, would anyone be willing to pull a bullet or two from some corrosive ammo to give me a measurement. For the cost of it, I'd be willing to buy a lot of corrosive and pull the bullets to use in my hand loads. Please let me know! Cheers

Check tradex and Higginson, they usually have bullets.

Cast bullets with a gas check is an option, I use these almost exclusively now, same performance as jacked with a stable supply. A quantity of the right type of lead, some casting tools, your all set.

I tried with some of my corrosive ammo and they were super hard to pull so be careful what you get yourself into.

You have to seat them deeper first to break the lacquer seal, then they will pull easy.

You may find the FMJ's anywhere from .308 - .310

That's what I buy and shoot, I get them for my SKS so my friends can hammer away. Costs a bit more than the Chinese but the ammo box is pretty functional. I can then use the stripper clips or sell them.
