7.62x39 extractor issue

My ar15 seems to be dropping the spent case off the extractor too soon and causing a jam. Sometimes leaves the case in the chamber. Anyway where can I get a new one. Found lots of .223 ones but say not ideal for 7.62

You could also be under gassing give you’re adjustable gas block a quarter turn out

Thought about that but if I manually pull the bolt back the shell falls off the extractor and is sometimes fails to grab it out of the chamber. It also grabs the next round befor the gun jams.
