7.62x39 headstamp inquiry

I acquired some 7.62x39 and I’d like to identify the origin and whether or not it’s corrosive or not.

Some is 22 77 and some is 22 73

1977 or 1973 made ammo is corrosive

The 22 is the factory where it was manufactured, the 77 and 73 is the year of production.

So Plant 22 Romania, 1973 and 1977. Romanian surplus and is undoubtedly corrosive.

The packaging, papers, box type and colour, stripper clips, finish and colour, are also useful in identifying cases.

BTW, I found that the Romanian Milsurp was pretty accurate thru my SKSs. I haven't tried any thru my Ruger Ranch but I get MOA-ish even with Chi-MS in the Ruger. I'm saving my 'last Romanians' for a special occasion
