7.62x39 non corrosive

Nope, but if you find some let us know.......
The Hungarian that Districorp sells is advertised as non-corrosive, but 5 minutes on the net will tell you other wise.

May i reiterate its quite corrosive, that districorp stuff.

And they dont reply to any emails about it.
False advertising adn they dont give a ####. Dont bother with them.

Just out of curiosity, if it's possible to bring in that aparently wonderful Wolf stuff that seems so cheap and plentiful in the states, why does nobody, ie retailers, bring it in? I would be quite surprised if there wasn't a demand for cheap non-corrosive 7.62x39.

ArmRus tried, but I dont think they understood what they where doing. Wish they had asked someone with experience for help.

I'm in for some wolf ammo if its cheaper then the Czech ammo as it should be.

I don't even care about the cost - where else can you get 154gr 7.62x39 ammo?

Talk for yourself Mr. Trump. I'm sick of dealers going "well norinco sold for that much, and now I dont import norinco they got to buy this crap for as much! Muahahaha!"

CanAm however I am sure will as usual sell it for an excellent price if he does get any I am sure.

I was under the impression that the Wolf stuff (as well as that other Russian brand who'se name I forget) was verboten in Canada, explosives folks at the CDN govt just don't want to put it on the "approved" list, just like just about every other type of "affordable" ammo out there.

Wolf (TCW) is approved. There are various issues at work with wolf. Mainly that the US uses 500 million rds of 7.62x39 per year. Wolf really can't be bothered about Canada. I have spoken with them many times.

Cheers,

Chris

I've heard 2 stories about Wolf .

Story#1 : Wolf is not on the "ok" list . However the company that makes Wolf is on the list ( Sorry , can't remember the name ) so anything they make is ok for import .

Story #2 : Wolf just can't be bothered to import into Canada . Not enough market to bother with . The US market absorbs everything Wolf can import so why bother trying to get into Canada's smaller and more paperwork intensive market . This one has the ring of truth , I recall some members on this board trying to become the Canadian Dist. and Wolf telling them " We're not interested "

Take your pick .

Craig

So in other words, even if a Canadian distributor approached a US distributor to get some shipments northbound, by the time the stuff lands here, thanks to all the paperwork, it wouldn't end up being any cheaper than the other commercial offerings from say, Remington ?
