7.62x39 tracer

I wouldn’t bother selling mine for less than $2 a round. I don’t think I’d sell any of my other tracer as I don’t have much and it’s scarce.

At some point it's not worth anything if you don't shoot it or sell it. It's like Schrodinger's Ammo.

I've got 300+ rounds of 8mm tracer, amongst others, that I should do something with.

Queue up the “is it illegal to shoot at night” thread lol

But yeah, you do have a point. Sometimes I am really just hoarding stuff for no reason.

Switzer's Auction has had a couple of auction lots in the past year. Generally, tracer rounds sell for twice or three times what an FMJ would be.

I had 9 crates of the stuff. Sold them early at $600 a crate before prices started taking off lol. Sure was an eye opening experience to see what bullets do when fired at different targets. Or when you miss your target. For $2 a round I think you’re looking at small lots. Larger lots I’d expect cheaper. $1 each is too much for me. Even $600 for a case of 1520 was too much for me lol. But I just considered them a novelty. To each their own I guess.
