Was in a gun shop in MICHIGAN today and overheard the dealer explaining that all the millsurp 7.62x39 has dryed up. I would never of thought you would ever see it dry up in the U.S. Anybody heard of this?

nah - I've heard from a couple of different friends that x39 is getting really scarce down there. Perhaps they arent able to import anymore, I have no clue

I heard the U.S. govt' is buying up all the 7.62x39. For the Iraqi army, or maybe they're expecting something?

uh oh. the dreaded invasion of norway! :D It might be for the Iraqis, or maby its all speculation and bs:confused:

Stocks of x39 and 5.56 are very low in the US. THe Russians are shipping very small quantities right now. I am getting several calls a day from the US for ammo! Never thought I'd see that.

Might be a good time to start refusing to sell to the USA as they seem to have issues selling to us when it suits them.

Hmmm Pay your Softwood bill and we will talk ammo. ;)

Methinks it is time to stockpile. :D

Wouldn't that be ironic!

Canada: "Pay us a reasonable market price for our softwood lumber."
USA: "No way!"
Canada: "Do you want ammo or not?"
USA: "Um, what was that about the softwood lumber? Maybe we can talk..."

What the hell is wrong with the US' foreign policies when it comes to the Middle East? Cripes! Set up a government here and train them and supply them with arms. A few years later declare war on them and train and supply their opponents. Reverse every couple of years. All the while control the oil... not bad, really... :D
