7.62x45 ammo

Very hard to find. Ask around gun shows and you might get lucky. Buffalo arms makes some. You would need to deal with an importer. Looking at a fair chunk of change to get some. Dies are more rare than the ammo, but you can use 303 to size, and x39 to load. You can make cases from 220 swift or 6.5 carcano. Both are not common.

Personally, I'm tempted to buy the adapter to use x39mm

Almost bought a crate 2 years ago by mistake. John's Tackle box in New Liskeard had 6 crates of supposedly 7.62X39. I wanted one and when picking one I noticed a tag
7,62x45 made in Czechoslovakia.

My VZ doesnt crumple the brass but sure throws them far. I saved my Berdan brass what i could find. Still have lots of brass surplus. Are guys reloading these cases ? Or is there commercial available ? You would think PPU or somebody would make some. Some Hornady Military Classics would sure be nice.
