Is Igman the only option in canada? I'm looking for something I can buy online - and it's the only soft point I've found - just curious if there is anything else out there. (Also I don't reload)

Igman is all I've found so far also. I picked up some Sellier & Ballot (sp?) stuff at a gunshow, haven't shot it yet. I haven't seen any vendors carry S&B, but I haven't really looked either.

Sellier & Bellot is about the best I have used in the past.

Believe Ellwood Epps carries the brand and may be able to put you in touch with the distributor for closer store selling in your area.

I bought S&B in Winnipeg and in GTA. I bought Igman in Epps too. Consider reloading too ;) Winchester makes some too, but I didn't see any for sale.

i've bought the S&B in edmonton in the past. i chrono'ed the 180 grain load at just over 2500 fps in a polish MN1944.

killed a couple of deer with it too.

none of the ammo that i have shot in the polish '44 seems to be any more or less accurate than any other. this of course is within the limitations of the sights and my shooting skill.

I bought some 7.62x54r at Epps a few weeks ago, the only stuff they had in stock, other than surplus, was Igman and Bell.

I collected several boxes of Norma 7.62x54R at gun shows over the years.

Killed bears dead with it too.
