I'm new to the Calgary area I am looking for stores that would sell 7.62x54r (preferably new manufacture) in under 200gr. I am not dismissing surplus, I just don't want to have hundreds of rounds right now, and would be looking for 3-4 boxes for a nice afternoon on a weekend.

I used to just drive to SFRC back home, but now that I'm residing in Alberta, I'm hoping some locals can help me out.

Cheers

Wholesale Sports stocks S&B new production brass cased stuff, as well as MFS steel cased, all sold in standard 20 round boxes and all priced okay. The Shooting Edge has 880 round crates of surplus for $299, they also normally have a couple different kinds of new producton stuff(S&B, PPU, MFS etc.). The Shooting Centre often has surplus but I think they were out last time I was there, I would imagine that they also stock factory stuff. Like stated above Things Military stock PPU and they also often have surplus. I believe they often sell smaller amounts of surplus in addition to cases. The Canadian tire on Mcleod Trail will probably have PPU and/or S&B in stock. I wouldnt count on Bass Pro stocking 54r but it is possible.

Things Military has it. PPU stuff. Works out to a buck a round if you are buying by the box.

Thanks both of you, this is a huge help.
