7.62x54R Surpammo question

Hey just bought some 54R today and I noticed that Half of the pack had Yellow tips and half didnt. just wondering why this was, it seems as thought the ones without the yellow once had yellow tips but were taken off. Im really not a fan of this ammo (used it before) but it was on cheap and it was also the only thing available.

Anyway here is a pic just to help you out.. Sorry bout the thread I was just interested. (the pics a little larger then I expected it to be Oops!)

all looks yellow tipped to me.

Just one is wore off, different paint batch I would guess

Yellow tip = Heavy ball 182 grain.

Tell me about it bub. Everyone always flames for not using the search function...but I can only get it to work 2/3's of the time anyways.

I like the kick of the yellow tip myself, thank you very much.

That yellow tip is twice the kick as the usual stuff. Lots of sparks. fun

You haven't seen sparks until you shoot BXN52 czech 7.62x25mm.
