I would like to confirm who made this 762x54r. Also what is the composition of the case and bullet and bullet weight.
Can anyone provide some info.20250705_114703.jpg20250705_114457.jpg20250705_113540.jpg20250705_112629.jpg

I’d place money on that being from some sort of Eastern European country, no Chinese anywhere on the packaging. Could be Russian too, but i have no clue.

Chinese factory 61, made in 1969. Steel case, light ball 147gr bullet (likely steel core. Check it with a magnet) I had a bunch years ago. If memory serves me, it shot quite well in the Polish m44 I had at the time.

Looks undeniably Chinese as stated above. The bullet is steel jacketed so it will attract a magnet. I still have some leftovers of that ammo from Marstar.
Like 10-15 years ago it was cheap like dirt. Not anymore.

Not sure of origin, but is shot well for me also.
I don't think we will ever see ammo cheap again. 😕
I think it was $199 per case.

Yes, that was the price like around 8-10 years ago at Marstar for an 880rds crate. I've just found that I still have one their crate intact!
