Bought the mould last year, just got around to making some the other day. the mould worked great. made about 200 slugs . Used a load that came with the mould,38 gn of hs6,waa12 wad and Win AA hull. The crimp look's a little off, just woundering if any one has used these before?new to casting and was also woundering if you can use lee liquid alox for black powder if not could anyone recomend a good alternitive?

Don't know about using Alox with black powder, but do cast and use the Lee Drive Key Slugs only I use the 1 oz. As I recall the load is 36g of HS 6 for the heavier slug. Accuracy in my smoothbore is somewhat better than the Wally World slugs and velocity is about the same. Three shot groups at 25 meters average just a little better than 3 inches, which is fine for intended application. If I wanted to shoot longer range I would look at something else and try changing the barrel on my 870 to a rifled one. Good luck...fred

I'm new to this site but am very curious about reloading and such. I was wondering if there was a way to see the finished product from a Lee slug mould after its in the hull to see if the finished product it the same as the one we've made. Thanks in advance.
