Figured this' a better place to ask than the reloading section - trying to track down the 125 gr 7.92 projectiles for the 8mm kurz cartridge. Place I used to buy them is sold out and so far every I've contacted doesn't have them. Anyone noticed some on a shelf somewhere?

150 gr bullets also work...and may actually be more accurate

I would know for sure if my MP-44 wasnt somehow so much more dangerous than your re-pop one

I think tradex use to have em....try Higginsons

Thanks - Tradex is out - Hornady ended production so they weren't sure when they'd get more. I'll contact Higginsons - hadn't heard of them so thanks!

What do you have that can shoot them? Pics please :)
I can imagine and jealous already

I'll work on it - been in for work for a while :p

I know where there's some new loaded ammo - are you set on loading it?

Pretty set on reloading - I'm all set to reload and can save a decent amount doing it.

Good point - I'm not sure the twist rate so you could very well be correct. I'd assumed out of hand that the bullets would be too long to seat/feed properly and too heavy to stabilize but I'll definitely give it a shot so to speak. If 150 works then you've probably saved me a ton of hassle :p

None of the major American manufacturers make a 125. Suspect you'll have to import from Prvi. They make a 123.

Thanks! Took a look and found the loaded ammo! Are you talking components or loaded ammo? Tradex has the ammo in stock but I'd greatly prefer to reload.

I was just browsing TradeEx yesterday and remember seeing brass for sale. I'd expect they'd have other components to go with.

Yep - I need to stock up on more brass too :p Only issue is they're sold out of projectiles and Hornady has stopped production on them so no ETA on restocking. Once they get more I'll definitely be touching base with Tradex again though... some of the best customer service of any business I've ever come across.

I have shot quite a bit of PRVI ammo through my BD44,shoots very well.
Also reloaded when bullets were still available from Hornady.Been emailing with Tradeex recently about PRVI bullets, they list them under their part # B-424,and Tradeex will try and order them but don't know if they have any stock at the moment.
I like the PRVI bullets better than the ones from Hornady, the ogive is more like the originals ,I still have some east German stuff from the 1950's but it is steel lacquered stuff and most likely corrosive.Shot about 5 rounds and it is pretty hot stuff.
So all we can do for now is shoot factory ammo and save the cases for future reloading.
