7 mm, 30-06 or 270 ?

In your opinion what would be the best all around caliber for hunting Deer, Moose, Bear and Caribou with a reasonable recoil ?

I'd go 7mm Mag, 30-06 and 270 in that order. I think it depends where you hunt too. If moose hunting in Northern BC in Griz country, it doesn't hurt to carry a 7mm Mag.

06 can get ammo anywhere, many many loadings, leaves a bigger hole

Actually the difference in the size of the entry hole means very little if anything at all.The exit hole means much more and depends on bullet construction not caliber, unless or course you are using non-expanding bullets which are illegal for use on big game in most provinces.
As far as purchasing ammunition, all three are readily available, but if you need to purchase more while on a hunting trip it only indicates very poor planning.

30-06 would be my choice but that is just me.

The 7mm is very close but requires a longer barrel to really show a gain over the '06. That 2" of difference is very noticeable if you are hunting in the bush as the barrel is always hanging up on branches and twigs.

The 270 has, and will continue to kill a lot of moose but in truth the 30-06 and it's heavier bullets is a slightly better choice.

At the end of the day any of the 3 with good quality bullets will cleanly kill any animal on your list.
