I was in Pangirtung Nunavut this week and found a box of 7MM Remington Express. I understand that this was another name for the 280 Reminton.

Does anyone know the year(s) of manufacture of this ammo and whether it has any collectable value?

Thanks
Big

I think Remmie changed the 280's name to the 7mm Rem Express in 1979 as a way to Boost lacking sales.......it didn't work and a few years later it was recxalled the 280 Remington.
I doubt the box of Shells will have any Real serious Value but may be Desireable just the same to a Collector just cause:confused:

I would have to guess they are most likely from 1979 to the early 80's ???

If I'm wrong someone will correct me I'm sure;)

Introduced 1957 as .280 rem, changed to 7mm express rem about 1979.This created major problems as people thought it was 7mm magnum.Name later changed back to .280 rem box ma have minor collector value.
