I have a Remington Model 700 ADL which is chambered in 7 Rem Mag. Since I own 2 other rifles in this chambering I want to re-barrel to a 470 Capstick which is a 375 H & H case blown out to 470 caliber. Other than possibly having to re-work the magazine feed lips/ramp is there anything else I am missing?

I'd add a recoil lug on the barrel and a cross bolt or two. I know my 450 and 475 Ackley's are very hard on stocks. - dan

A 470 Capstick has been on my bucket list for years. Have bought the odd donor rifle to make one, but keep making the mistake of shooting the donor...........havent bought a dud one yet, so 470 still on the list.
