700P in 223 (556 ) leupold 'PR' scope shoots well under 1" @ 100 meters, now Im lucky to get 2.5 " with the same ammo, has not been dropped, atmospheric unchanged, what gives, it used to shoot a myriad of manufacturers with nary a hiccup and now it shots as good as my mini 14

I had a similar thing not too long ago. Turns out mine was just badly fouled. Lots and lots of sweets with a nylon brush over and over, and it's back to being wonderful.
Just a thought.

BC guy, Im thinking the same thing (hindsight) I cleaned her pretty good (so I thought), but may have to expend some calories next time around

Just to cover off some of the easy questions, when was the last time you cleaned it? How many rounds have gone down the tube with respect to barrel wear? Are the screws tight in your scope and stock? Have you developed carpal tunnel or incurred nerve damage from too much ?

Other than the easy things, maybe get your barrel scoped for damage or excessive wear. The experts here probably have 100 other things you could look into.

But Im usually pretty diligent on cleaning....
