I can tell you what I would look for...the phone number of the place I bought it.

"Hey, I'm getting light primer strikes on an LMT I just bought from you...would you like me to send it back, or what?"

I don't go for fixing brand new gear myself. That is the whole point of buying quality in the first place.

WHen you field stripped it, did you clean out the firing pin channel? if not, take out the extractor, flush out the channel well with a solvent to ensure there isn't any grease in there. clean off the firing pin and lightly oil. re-assemble and shoot

I have a new LMT 5.56 AR and has only seen a max of 200 rounds and cleaned thoroughly after each shoot (2) Im getting light primer strikes, on the first to second rounds of each sequence....at first i was concerned about ammo then progressively the primer strikes were obviously getting weeker based on the fading strike indents on the primers of the unspent rounds.... it appears to be cycling fine when the rounds are being struck and again it only seems to be happening at the beginning of each course of fire....?

I field stripped it and found nothing of concern...again this is a brand new rifle... after having stripped it I will be going out this weekend to fire a few hundred rounds and try and figure it out but....

any recommendations for things to check, look out for??? Thanks in advance!

(Im using brand new pmags, BCMG Charging handle, nothing else has been altered from the stock model)

If you just bought this gun new from us then you should contact our office and we'll get you sorted out. Call our office and ask for Alex.

If you bought it used from someone then you should contact the person you bought it from.
