hello CGN. i have recently picked up a 715T took it to the range today for the first time and im very upset with it. at 25 yards it didnt even hit the paper, after maxing out its adjustments it finially hits the target but shoots super low. Is this a common issue with these 22s? Will a red dot scope correct my problem? any feed back will be greatly appreciated

I bought one almost a year ago and had same issue. Had to Max sights out up and to the left. Still wasn't perfect so I put a scope on it and it's been better. I guess that's all I can hope for with all the plastic..

Wow helpfull comment!
I had both carryhandle and flat top versions, they both shot but a foot right even after maxing out the stock sights.
First thing I did with both my 715ts and su-22 was take off the stock sights.
Scope or rds. Huge difference!

My factory "iron sights" were pretty far off to the left and low on my non flat top model.

With the included carry handle scope mount rail jesus christ was this it even worse.

Solution for me was taking a sawzall to thee gun and cutting off the sites and putting an M16 scope riser which clamps perfectly into place on the gun.

Scope is 100% accurate and holds zero when I remove and reinstall it.

I picked up a cheep tasco red dot scope for $50 and ill be trying that out at the range after christmas, im hopeful that i can sight in my 715t with the red dot, crossing my fingers that the 715 i bought isnt going to be a dud :(

Looking at doing some major surgery to mine as well. Ironically, I've been on here defending this platform in the past, because of it's reliability and accuracy. Then, basically overnight, I couldn't hit a Boeing 747 at 20 yds.
All of a sudden, there just wasn't enough adjustments for windage, regardless of the distance. All I can assume is, that the plastic sometimes moves around the actual firearm.
When you might be shooting at something with a heartbeat (i.e. a Seagull), you owe it to them to hit them in the right place the 1st f*c*ing time.
It was rock solid until it reached about 500 rounds. Then, it went 'rogue' and now I wouldn't shoot it at anything that wasn't paper-backed.
Time permitting, I'll take some power tools to it, lock down the plastic and attach 3rd party optics. If you don't have the time, don't buy this gun.

Ya if you look down the flat top the top rails are not strait at all, the hole shell is out of wack. Air soft guns are made better.
