725 LA for build

I believe Rem 725 for build should be regarded as superior to 700 and wondering what the demand would be for a 725 LA if I had one to part out. Is there a current demand for LA builds in your games?

725 vs 700

They weren't mass produced like the 700s, intended to compete with the pre-64 Win 70's, classier than 700s in that way, I think only 19,000 made

Can't see why the 725 would be better than a 700 for a build. The extractor is the same as the 721/722 which is not quite as good as a 700 extractor, especially a riveted 700 extractor. No anti-bind slot in the bolt either. The 725 safety could be consider better than a 700 in that it locks the firing pin.

Because the 725 was low in production one in nice shape with nice wood might have some collectors value but it was a mass produced action.

As already mentioned the 700 is a better platform.

They are a cool looking action, but they have no advantages (and some disadvantages) to a 700. They are an interesting variation for Remington collectors, but unless it's an early version in very good shape it won't be worth as much as an equivelant 700. - dan
