75 gr bullets in 1/9" AR

Has anybody tried 75gr Hornady A-Max, or any other similar weight bullets in a 1/9" AR? And, if you have, what have been your results?

The 75 AMAX's are marginal, they work in some and others they don't. You will just have to try them.

So true. They do work in my 1/9" Mini 14, but did not work in other 1/9" barrels. They are a very long bullet. The length comes more into play here than the weight.

The 75 grain hollowpoint match bullets seem to be not much problem though.

My 1/9 Stag shoots 77gr SMKs just fine. As for 75gr amax, there is no way I can load to mag length and still get a crimp on the bullet thus I have 95 of them sitting in a box.
