Anyone else having trouble dialing in there 7600P?

With the stock XS bigdot front sight, it would work perfect for it's intension of hitting a human in the chest from 30Y or less. But I bought this for a bush gun. It Groups OK, but it was shooting 8" high, 12" high with Hornady's. at 100 yards

I have managed to get it down to 4" high by installing a .406 Fiber Optic bead.
Williams only makes one taller sight, .500 IIRC. Hopefully this in enough.

Every pic I can find on the web of owners guns ALL have the rear sight as high as it can go, which tells me this is not a lone issue.

Who out there has a 7600P, and are you able to line it up?

If your rear sight is at the bottom of its adjustment and you are still printing 4" high, you then need a higher front sight. If the pics you've seen posted of other guns have the rear sight at the top of its adjustment, they have too high a front sight. The front sight should be at a height that allows for adjustment of the rear sight in both directions, higher and lower. I'm not a fan of fiber optic sights, and I prefer a rectangular post as high as possible which I can then dress down with a file until it falls within the parameters I need, with the rear sight near the middle of its adjustment.

my apologies, I just checked, my sight is at the bottom. so we can disregard all the pics on the net. My bad, maybe lack of morning coffee.

I knew I am maxed out, and I gonna be trying the tallest sight for the front soon. This is the third and tallest front sight I have tried so far.

I'm just curious if anyone else with a 7600P is able to line theirs up?
