Really looking to find one of these and have looked through most of the sponsors web sites. I only found one sponsor who carries it but it's not in stock and the price is $150 more than when I first saw these guns a year ago (prices aren't the best at the shop either). Really hoping to find one around $700 otherwise I'm going to be watching the ee a lot.

Pay to play. You want a discontinued gun, my friend.........

Paul

I have a 7615 full camo 223 and a 7600 police 308win both cost way more then worth but I have them and don't see me parting with either anytime soon. If I want something bad enough I'll pay more.

I saw a 7615 in the EE for 800 yesterday I believe, and it seems like that might be what it's going to take if you want one bad enough.

Hey Gobles in London, ON had a new 7615p last time I was in for a good price. Give them a call.

I had one and sold it, they are a pretty cool gun, and surprisingly accurate. Think I sold mine for $750 on EE.

He offered it to me for $900 and when I said no put it on the EE for $800. I have a deal in progress for one at a very fair price with a great nutter and am hoping to have it in my hands next week.

SFRC had them for $700 last year but none left and none coming

Just picked it up on my way home from work. I'm hoping to get out with it before the weekend. Only thing I'm not crazy about is the mag release as it is really far forwards and requires my entire pistol grip hand to come off in order to hit it.

Well...if that mag release turns out to be a drag let me know. I have a WTB in the EE for a 7615!!

Wonder if a AR ambi mag release would work?

I shoot AR's left handed and when I change mags I grab the mag with my right hand and hit the release with my right thumb, with an ambi release you could do a mirror image of that and your right hand wouldn't have to move.

I had one of the first 7615P's that made it to Canada years ago. I was a little surprised to find you had to loosen the screw holding the butt stock in place to disassemble the action for cleaning. First time I took it to the range I had just fired the last round in the first mag (5 rounds). When I worked the pump I heard a clunk. Remove the magazine, work the action, and two pieces of metal fall out. I can't remember what it is called but it was a plate that holds the bolt assembly had broken. It took Gravel (the Remington warranty center) and Reliable (local Remington repair) about a year and a half to repair it. Most of the time was spent getting a new part and the last couple months because Reliable lost that part in the back room and couldn't find it. At first I was calm and rational but my patience wore out after the first year.

I get it back and now the only way to work the action is to hold the pump with both hands and slam the butt into the ground. By this point I had enough and just wanted my money back when I waited an additional 3 months. The wanted to give me current (at the time value) since the price had dropped since purchase. I threatened to make it my mission to let everyone know how lousy their product and customer service was. I also mentioned knowing a couple police agencies that were looking at the 7615P as a patrol rifle.

I ended up getting my money back and I can still feel my blood pressure rise whenever this rifle gets mentioned.

I am not surprised they are discontinued.... Piece of sh##.

Had it out today and it shot great. The cheek weld with the pistol grip stock is absolutely terrible though, I'm hoping with some high rings and the scope it will be ok, otherwise I'll be putting the regular stock back on it.
