so i took it for a test drive today and despite my old eyes it shoots better than i do !!! Although shooting a few inches high at 100 mtrs .I have the rear sight as low as it will go so presumably all i need is a taller front sight?i was shooting some south african surplus nothing fancy 1 round in piccy for scale .

Nice.

I want to get another Enfield with the full stock. I have 2 now but they are both sporters. There are a couple on the EE right now but I just blew a roll on an XCR.

Think you need a new calender. Mag looks like a Indian 2/2a one. Good shooting. Any DCRA mark on the bolt and receiver.

there was about 20 lee enfields at the bud haynes auction in Red Deer over the weekend mostly Mk111 but there was a couple of Mk4 longbranches WW11 dated went for under $300 w:h:stuff was selling cheap except of course the ones i wanted like this one and a SHT LE .22, bottle went at $700:runaway:cou:

Right on sir. The dcra mark will be on the top right of the receiver( more to the right then the top). The receiver will have the number and if you take the top handguard off there should be the same mark on the barrel. Have fun. Look up on the stickies at the top of the page a whole bunch of info there for the taking on the DCRA's and many pics as well.
