Picked up this old girl this weekend No. 4, Mk. I/2, (FRT {F}), (dated 1943, but changed in 1953) 7.62 Nato cal. its in great shape and looks like it haddnt been fired,
so i took it for a test drive today and despite my old eyes it shoots better than i do !!! Although shooting a few inches high at 100 mtrs .I have the rear sight as low as it will go so presumably all i need is a taller front sight?i was shooting some south african surplus nothing fancy 1 round in piccy for scale .
well canadian arsenal did the conversion
it has a 4 figure number on the reciever but dont seem to be dcra marked
markings not too clear on it
