77gr range?

Ok, here is the question...

Will a 77gr SMK fired from a 1:7" twist barrel at 2730fps be useable for a sniper shoot out to 900m? I'm guessing that it will be transonic at around 800m but will it be stable enough to shoot to 900m?

Your bullet BC is .362. Punch in the rest of your numbers. Looks like you will be around 1000fps at 1000 yards. By the looks of it you will be sub-sonic at 900 yards(800m about). Bullets do weird things when they start to become sub-sonic and some might make it to the target while others won't.
