783 mags

Do anybody know of any 5 or 10 round mags for this gun?

I don't think there any options for the Remington 783 factory magazine well. However, if you get a chassis such as the Oryx or an MDT LSS you can use AICS magazines that are available in 5, 10, and 12 round configurations. I think Jerry from Mystic Precision has a custom bottom metal on his 783 for AICS magazines. Maybe worth a try to reach out to him.

If you are looking to upgrade the factory set up, there is a company in Australia that makes extended mags. Me, I swapped in DBM that allows AICS mags to be used. Action inlet and dimensions are scaled for AICS mags so it works really well.



Apparently, this 783 with AICS DBM got released in the US. Got no more details then this pic.. rifle is in 6.5 Creedmoor
