7mm-08 from .308 brass

I recently acquired some quality .308 brass to size to 7mm-08.

I was thinking about a procedure to make this easier on the brass.

I have full length die, neck collet die, and normal neck sizing die.

Just wondering if running the brass through the collet type then into the full length would be a little less stress on the whole process.

Anybody have thoughts on this or attempted it before?

Lube'em and run'em.
They go pretty easy.
If you're unsure, try a couple on some not so quality brass.
Make sure you check for case length as they will grow a bit.

I would lube with Imperial Sizing Wax and FL resize, then check trim length and load.

If there once fired brass run them through fl 308 die first.

If you want good case life, anneal the neck and shoulder after resizing.

Already annealed and new brass, not once fired.

I use Norma brand 308 brass in my 260. Just ran through the full length resizer.

But you really need to anneal it again after resizing to 7mm.

Ok, been annealed, now i think i will run it through the neck collet sizer just as a final insurance that all is well.

Can't be a bad idea.
