7mm-08 SST's poor groupings - Figured out!!

Nice to see...but you went from a "basic" to a premium bullet. Not complaining here as I've also got great loads for my 300wsm and 260 with Sciroccos. There are other bullets out there that are cheaper than the Swifts though, and still should work well with your 08.
At the same time, unless you shoot the Swift bullets all the time (read this as target practice) they are the cheap end of the hunt anyway when compared to the other costs, gas, license etc.
760/414 are great powders for me in a few calibers too!

Yup, I agree with ya, just so happens they shot the best and I was heading towards a premium bullet for hunting anyways.

I will be trying match kings for target/varmint use once they arrive.

And , we can't take it with us!! might as well spend it,lol

You loading 'em with 760? Chances are your rifle just didn't like the SST's with 760, if you were. It might like 'em just fine with a different powder. Reloading is like that. Mind you, I think I'd stick with the Sciroccos.
Sight in and practice, off hand, at 100, on a 9" pie plate, until you can hit it every time.
