Hi guys,

I'm loading Nosler ABLRs for hunting but have no practice bullets for my 7-08. ABLRs can be tricky to keep on hand and my ammo is running $1.08/rd + loaded My best accuracy ever was Hornady 139gr BTSPs and right now the best price I've found is $39/100. I'm looking for a 140+gr bullet and plan to load for the accuracy node closest to a start charge for max $savings on practice ammo. Wishing for $0.50/rd loaded but even $0.75/rd would be nice.

Is anybody using a less expensive bullet? Something around $30/100?

I have a 223 for higher volume practice. So I want something to simulate hunting loads on the actual rifle used, especially for the kids to practice.

Thanks,

Willy

Bullet prices have gone up. Under a $1 a rounds is very good with taxes in my books. Large used lots in the Ee are economical . The price of bullets is really the smallest cost of your hunting trip.

I'm thinking 40 bucks /100 is gonna be about as good as it gets..........unless you want to use cast..........Speers and Sierras are going to be at least that or more..........Maybe Privi bulk, have you checked out Tradex?

Thanks guys, I did check Tradex and I didn't find what I'm looking for.

These are not for hunting, just practice... I have premium bullets for hunting.

I haven't found a deal on EE yet that is in my price range and at least 200 bullets. Some great deals on 100ct though

I did receive a pm I'll follow up on though,

Thanks again

you have to watch the ee"s the good deals are gone asap. I picked up 500 speer 160 bt 7mm for $175 to my door. that's about as cheep as you get these days.
