I think it would be just perfect.
Prosper, you are dead wrong and you quote an innapropriate powder for light bullet in the 7mm rem mag. With 69 gr of reloder 22 I get 3200+ fps in my Sako (which is listed for salein the E/E forum) and excellent accuracy. with 160 gr Accubonds I get over 3000 fps with 64.5 grs and the same accuracy.
Stubblejumper's recommendation is totally sound, the 140 gr TSX didn't like my rifle, or i would probably have used them.

I use 160gr partitions with either Retumbo or the discontinued H870 both give speeds of over 3100fps but that is in a M700 not a 710.

Given that the ranges are only out to 300ish, you wouldn't have to load them particularly hot either... though it is a Mag...
