7mm Holt

Does anyone reload this Wildcat Caliber, found a set of CH dies for it but never found any rifles chambered for it, is it a long range round, what era? Any info would be appreciated

Can't help you with that, but I am looking for a set of 7X61 S&H (Sharpe & Hart) if you happen to come across a set.

I have never heard of a 7mm Holt.

It could be that the die maker made a reamer for Mr. Holt, based on whatever he wanted, say a 7.62x39 necked down to 7mm and called the reamer and sizer a 7mm Holt.

I have a 6.5 reamer made with my name on it. A modified 6.5-284.
