Most often they recommend reducing the load about 5% for the rimmed cases as they are usually used in actions that don't have the strength or extraction ability of the rimless/bolt action. Most of these Euro rimmed cartridges are for use in break action guns, and I would load accordingly.

I have a Krieghoff drilling and a Sauer cobo gun in 7x57 R. I use regular 7x57 data, ( not the +P loads you sometimes see listed for "strong bolt actions" I think the SAAMI max of 48,000CUP would be OK with most break action guns. I load 175 gr. Hornady PSP bullets to 2350FPS using IMR4831 or H4350.

I was not 100% confident in the pressure limit posted above, so I looked it up in my Lyman manual, and realized I should correct my error - the SAAMI max is 46,000 not 48,000.

Europeans load the standard 7x57 to a higher pressure than SAAMI, and reduce pressures for the rimmed version.
