Hi Everyone

I Have 7MM REM MAG Browning blot action.

Looking to see what people have for a scope during hunting season. (big game from elk, moose and bear (grizzly also))

Any recommendations, experiences that can help me out would be great...

Happy hunting everyone

I will list the scopes that I currently have on my big game guns.
375 Ruger (Ruger Alaskan 20") Leupold VXIII 2.5-8x36mm. Got it for half price of new on the EE. Older model, but glass is great, reticle is simple and good, very rugged and reliable Paid $250

338win mag (Ruger Mk II SS/Syn boat paddle stock) Leupold VX2 3-9x40 Great glass, same as above really, but newer model. Great scope for the money. Paid $300

300win mag (Howa 1500 Lightning SS/Syn Hogue) Burris Fullfield II 3-9x40 Nice glass, decent in all categories, Good Value for the $$ paid$230

.308 win (Remington 700 SS/Syn 20") Bushnell 3200 3-9x40 (minimum needed in a big game scope) I would consider the 3200 as the least $$ scope you should consider reliable on a
magnum rifle in their lineup. Glass is good, the rainguard coating does what it says it does, never had a failure with several of these on some big kickers, as I didn't have a better scope to put on at the time. This is a real good value for the money and used ones are often $175-$225.

30-30 win (Savage 340) 4-12x40 Bushnell Banner. This scope is decent for all lower kickers such as the 30-30 and 25-06 rem, 223 etc. The glass is best used in good light, but it has held up for me for thousands of shots on lower caliber guns. (It has been mounted dozens of times and keeps on going) paid $139 at walmart
They all have good warranties, but I have not tried to ever use it as they have all done me well.

For my dedicated big game rifles the biggest scope I have is a Leupold VX3 2.5-8X36 works great holds zero well comes up to the shoulder nicely and is compact. For a big game rifle this is perfect for me. I had a 2.5-12X56 mm scope for one season and got rid of it as itwas not useful, I cant remember the last time I took my scope off of 4 power during hunting season.

I have an older Leupold VX II 3-9x40 on my Parker-Hale 7mmMag. It has been a great scope and still is working fine. Not too big but can still see out there when needed.
I keep it on the lowest power when walking through the bush and crank it up when at a cut-block and need to check out animals on the far sides.
