I have been loading mine with 60gr. of IMR 4350, CCI primers, topped off with 150gr. Nosler Partitions with excellent accuracyfor target shooting. For actual hunting rounds, I cap them with 150gr. Nosler Ballistic tips because I noticed deformations in the lead tips from rough handling. My groups are not as tight, but you can still shoot gophers at 200m with them.
I'm sure many will say the bullet weight is too light for anything over an antelope, but I have shot dozens of good size bucks and a dozen moose without ever wounding or loosing them. Shot placement is what counts.
I had found out the hard way what a 175gr. bullet does to a deer if it nicks some bone, so I down sized on someones suggestion and have been happy with the 150's for 20 years now.
I tried diff. powders and bullets at first, but the above combp is what I settled on. Personal preference.
